Bruce is guessed to be between ten months and one year old - he is very much a clumsy boy who is learning how to be a grown up. He will, like all dogs, require continued training. That said, he does not have wild puppy energy, though he does love to play, and he knows quite a few asks already like sit, down, and leave it. He walks very well on a leash, and has gotten along with all of the dogs and kids he's met. He doesn't have any cat friends, but, based on his demeanor, it's likely he'll do just fine with appropriate introductions.
Bruce is about sixty pounds, and he's working on gaining weight. He also still may be growing, pending his age, so there is a chance he will be closer to a typical GSD-size (70+ pounds). It's suspected that Bruce is a 'pure bred,'* but we don't know for sure, and, also, we couldn't care less. He's perfect no matter what!
Bruce is potty trained and is working on crate training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and diagnostics, on prevention.

Everyone deserves a second chance and judging a dog’s behavior or personality based on how they act in an environment or situation that stresses them out is, simply, not fair.
Our mission is to provide a safe place to land and rehabilitation to the dogs who need it most - the ones most other rescues wouldn’t touch.
