Samson needs a sponsor!

SNAP Cats rescued Samson from San Francisco, CA. Samson is a very active, playful, loving kitty who, despite missing the bottom half of a rear leg, can keep up with any and all of our kitties here! Samson is also a lap cat, who loves attention and loves to be in the middle of any activity. Samson’s rear leg (missing the bottom half) won’t need any special medical care. Just an occasional looksie to make sure it’s healthy and sore-free.

Samson was rescued with his sister, Delilah, and although they arrived here bonded, they can be adopted separately. That said, Samson still enjoys playing with his sister (a lot) so it’d be nice to see them adopted together. Delilah is also missing the bottom half of a rear leg, plus the toes on the other rear paw).

Adoption fee is a donation in an amount that the adopter feels is appropriate. All prospective adopters must fill out an adoption application, then meet with an adoption councilor. For local adoptions we perform a home inspection.

Animal shelters around the world are full. The first cats to be killed are special needs, elderly and those deemed “unadoptable.” That’s unacceptable.

SNAP Cats is a unique rescue and sanctuary in Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma County) dedicated to special needs cats. We rescue special needs cats from all around the world, house them, then find them warm, loving homes. We believe, if given time, that ALL cats can find the home that they deserve.

All of our SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives here, in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment.
