Meet Vance. He is a young handsome black lab/cattle dog mix. You know, that black dog syndrome keeps him and his brother unnoticed in the kennels. He is such a loving boy! He walks great on a leash! He is your typical Velcro dog. If you are looking for a fishing buddy or running partner, Vance is your guy. He may be a bit shy at first, but he will wiggle his way right onto your lap. And stay there. He is so deserving of a family! Please choose Vance as your next family member!

Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
