My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope, AKA Penny, walked right up to one of our outreach people and followed her to get food. She hung around and we were going to TNR her, but once in our care we discovered how absolutely sweet and affectionate she is! She wants all the pets and snuggles! She is super playful and just loves toys! It is unclear if Penny is good with other cats or dogs. She can see other cats through her glass door of the foster room, but her foster says she often hisses if the cats come up to the door. She can hear dogs bark in her foster home but has not interacted with them.

Penny does have FIV but that is not a big deal. It just means her immune system is not as strong as most cats and she will need a couple of supplements to keep her immune system boosted and healthy. She will be able to live a normal life with proper nutrition and regular vet care. Currently Penny has only 6 teeth. She has a genetic disorder that has caused her to lose most of the teeth. We are working on getting her remaining 6 teeth pulled, as they need to also come out. Penny will remain as a foster-to-adopt until her teeth have been removed (hopefully soon!).

Penny is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed. She is currently being fostered in Monroe.

Additional adoption info

We try to make the process of finding your new pet as easy and quick as possible! All animals are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption. Adoption application does NOT mean automatic approval for the pet you've applied for. All pets must have a meet and greet prior to fan adoption agreement.
