Hi there, East Coast friends! My name is Fresa, and I’m from San Antonio, Texas. I am a 2-year-old, 21-pound Beagle mix, and I am a sweetheart. I was waiting for my execution at Animal Care Services when 4 Little Paws Rescue saved 11 of us that day, and I was lucky enough to be chosen. I am now staying in a foster home, enjoying some fun without a care in the world!

My foster mom says I am a little wallflower—shy when I meet new people, friendly with cats, and initially indifferent about other dogs. I may never be the life of the party, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I am quite the happy and playful girl, having fun with my doggy friends, not so into dog toys, but am totally into people. I’m a total lovebug—always happy for pets, snuggles, and sharing kisses whenever I can. I’m also a bit of a foodie with exquisite taste, mostly enjoying sweet potato treats and dehydrated fruits and veggies! I love leisurely walks to the park, and I’m a good girl in the car. I also behave well in the house, being housebroken and rarely barking. I don't mind a crate, but I am allowed free-range in my foster home, and I get to sleep on the bed every night. So, to sum up… I am shy at first, but once I warm up, I am a real sweetheart—full of love to give, playful and happy, and always grateful for your attention. Inquire about me today!
