Meet Deek!
This sweet boy may start off shy, but once he knows you’re a friend, he’ll melt into your arms for attention and cuddles. Deek absolutely adores his dog friends and would love a home with another pup to help show him the ropes.
He’s got a big personality in a small body—he loves to bark, especially when he’s excited or wants to chat. Snacks are his love language, and mealtime might just be his favorite part of the day!
Deek came from a hoarding situation and is still learning about the world, including potty training. He’ll need some patience and consistency, but he’s eager to learn. Once he bonds with you, he’ll be your little shadow, following you from room to room with loyalty and love.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a big heart, Deek might just be your perfect match.

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
