My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duck is a handsome adult gentleman with striking black and white medium-length fur and a heart as soft as his coat. This sweet, gentle boy has a special way of asking for attention — he’ll stand up on your leg like a polite little butler, inviting you to come down to his level for some well-deserved pets.

Duck loves calm, affectionate interactions and will gladly soak up all the love you’re willing to give. His quiet charm and endearing nature make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal feline friend who knows how to ask for love without saying a word.

Whether he's curled up nearby or gently tapping for affection, Duck is sure to waddle right into your heart.

Duck would prefer a house with no young kids.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
