**Meet Micha** – Graceful, Resilient, and Ready to Bloom
Micha is a sleek, four-year-old black beauty with a story that tugs at your heartstrings. Found as a stray kitten in Florida, she likely encountered feline herpes early in life—a common virus among cats in crowded environments. She spent nearly a year in an overwhelmed shelter before making her way to the caring arms of Greater Derry Humane Society. The stress triggered a viral outbreak, but thanks to antiviral treatment and a lot of love, she is healing like the resilient soul she is.
Don’t let her rough start fool you—Micha has a heart of gold. Once she trusts you, she blossoms into a companion who adores quiet moments and gentle affection. She may be shy at first, but give her time, and she’ll be rubbing against your leg and curling up beside you before you know it.
All this lovely girl wants is a calm, loving home where she can finally relax and be cherished. After everything she’s been through, **she truly deserves the peace and stability of a forever family.**
Are you the person who’ll give her the fresh start she’s been waiting for?
All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped.
The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
