This super sweet 5 year old Chihuahua is everything anyone would ever want from a doggie friend. She is about 5 years old loves her people and a nice afternoon nap next to you. She loves other dogs big and small. She weighs in at about 13 pounds. Felice is spayed, utd on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and on heartworm prevention.

Felice is house trained with a doggie door but will use a puppy pad if necessary. She still has energy to play with the other dogs and doggie toys. I am sure you could not find a better friend than Felice. She would do well as an only dog or as a playmate for one or two siblings.

She will be a treasure for the lucky person or persons who chooses her for their family. She met a cat at the clinic and did not seemed bothered by it. Do you want a special girl? Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

An application is required to meet foster dogs outside of adoption events.

2.
Interview

Typically there is a phone interview and a vet reference check.

3.
Meet the Pet

We have an in person meet and greet with the pet to ensure it is a good fit for both the dog and the family

4.
Approve Application

Approve the application, pay the fee and take the dog home can occur at the meet and greet if foster and family feel it is a match

Additional adoption info

We look to match the dogs personality, energy, and size to the potential adoptive family lifestyle and dynamics. A family looking for a calm snuggle buddy is not a good match for a working dog that needs to be walked several miles a day to be content and successful in the home.

Go meet their pets

APAC has bi-monthly in person adoption events at the Temple, Texas Petsmart, typically on the first and third Saturday of the month. There is no need to wait for an adoption event, with an approved application we will schedule private meet and greets at a time convenient for the foster home and the potential adopter.

The Association for a Pet Adoption Center (APAC) is a 501(c)3 not-for profit foster home based rescue seeking to alleviate over crowding in our local shelters and help match families with really great dogs. Adoption fees include vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip and heartgard to get started in the new family. We rescue to make a difference in our community, in the lives of homeless pets, and in the lives of families seeking a companion animal.
