My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stella, an adult dog with a heart full of joy. Her playful antics are a sight to behold, as she loves nothing more than a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. But don`t let her energy fool you; Stella also enjoys the quieter moments. She`s a sweet soul who will happily curl up by your side for a relaxing evening. Stella`s friendly nature makes her a wonderful companion for both individuals and families. She has a knack for making anyone she meets feel like the most important person in the world. By adopting Stella, you`re not just getting a pet; you`re gaining a loyal friend who will shower you with unconditional love and happiness.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
