Backstory:
Born near Thanksgiving, I've already got a lot to be thankful for--like being rescued with my six siblings. Life threw us a curveball when we lost Mom at just 4 weeks and found ourselves out in the cold. But hey, I'm a survivor, and now I'm ready to thrive... in your arms!
Hobbies:
Perfecting my puppy-dog eyes (works 100% of the time).
Learning new tricks--I'm already super smart and eager to please.
Bringing warmth, love, and LOTS of tail wags to everyone I meet.
Making everyone say, "What a cool dog!" (Brindle is the new black, haven't you heard?)
Likes:
Belly rubs (all day, every day).
Cozy blankets--gotta make up for that early chill!
Playing with squeaky toys, siblings, and... pretty much anything that moves.
Snack time--because I'm a growing pup, and treats are life.
What I'm Looking For:
Someone with a big heart, a warm lap, and lots of time for snuggles. I'm sweet, lovable, and smart--a total triple threat. Whether we're exploring the world or chilling on the couch, I'll be your best friend for life.

Prospective adopters are asked to complete an adoption application at www.sansabaanimals.com The application is reviewed by our adoptions committee. We typically check vet and personal references and confirm landlord permission, if applicable. If the adoption is approved, SSCFOA and the adopter enter into an adoption contract. An adoption fee of $50 to $100 is required.

San Saba County Friends of Animals is a all-volunteer foster-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue. Our mission is to assist lost, abandoned, neglected and abused animals in San Saba County, Texas by helping to reunite lost pets with their owners, fostering and caring for homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, finding appropriate adoptive homes for surrendered or abandoned pets and providing assistance to low-income pet owners through occasional distributions of pet food. We also seek to educate the members of our community about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, regular vaccinations and adequate veterinary care, and we conduct a trap/neuter/return program for feral cats in our community.
