Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 4/9/25
Po is from a litter of 4 that was found in an abandoned home with a heavy feral cat colony population at just 3 weeks old. These sweet kittens were rescued just in time to get the help they needed and had a tough first couple weeks of treatment to bring them back to health.
This guy was initially one of the shy ones but always very sweet. He now is the biggest adventurer and the first to try new things. He makes us laugh all the time with his special “lost kitty trick”. He likes to wander around a few feet from you and look at the wall and cry sadly. As soon as you say “what’s the matter buddy, are you sad?” He comes running over like he’s been neglected for a week for pets and comforting. I work from home and when he hasn’t had attention in a while he does his “sad kitty trick” and it works every time.
He comes with the biggest and prettiest eyes and an extra special long tail with a white tip at no extra charge. It’s very stylish and fancy and he knows how cool he is.

Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
