Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Grizelda is a stunning, soulful girl who has been in foster care for the past 5 months, and during that time she has truly blossomed. She thrives in a calm, predictable home and deeply values routine—once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines.
Grizelda prefers dry food with a tablespoon of wet mixed in, and she’s proudly learned the joys of toys and treats. When she first arrived, she didn’t even know what they were—now she happily carries them around like little trophies.
One of her favorite things? Rolling onto her back in hopes of belly rubs, or gently placing her paw on your leg to ask for more pets. She is very vocal and expressive, using her voice and body language to communicate. With her people, she is incredibly loving and devoted. She sleeps with her foster, waits calmly by the door when left alone, and is fully house-trained thanks to a doggy door—she has never had an accident indoors. Grizelda enjoys 2–3 walks a day. While she was unsure about leashes at first, she now eagerly leads her humans to her leash and truly enjoys her walks. Because of her past experiences, Grizelda can startle with new or sudden noises and may respond defensively if surprised. This has improved with time and consistency, and she is looking for an experienced, patient, adult-only home that can continue working with her compassionately.
