My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey Everyone, I’m Molly an 18-month-old orange and white spayed Brittany mix searching for the right place to call Home Forever!
Right now, I’m enjoying the good life in a great foster home in Southeast PA. I am up to date on my vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped, heartworm negative, on prevention, and crate trained. I’m looking for a Forever home that may have another dog that’s looking for someone to run around with, as well as, maybe engage in a game of tug a war at times too.
I love to be outside, I walk well on a leash, I tolerate cats okay and get along well with other dogs. I also love people of all ages. However I’m still working on remembering my manners to not jump or bark at them, as I continue to work on important basic commands.

Here are a few other things my Foster Mom feels you should also know about me, Molly!
*Molly has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. If you have never heard of this? We are happy to explain it to you. Basically, Molly’s brain doesn’t know to stop drinking water. She will drink all the water she given without stopping. However, she is on medication (eye drops) twice a day for the rest of her life to help her brain communicate. Molly will need a family who is willing to give her regular water breaks and continue to help her learn water will always be available.

*Molly doesn’t mind being in a crate for a few hours. Sometimes she likes to just lie in it and take a nap, but she does best if she doesn’t have to stay in it for long periods during the day. Molly has not gotten used to snuggling yet, but will try it occasionally with us. She just has lots of energy and prefers to be playing instead!

*Molly needs a loving family that plays and will let her be goofy too. She will need another dog that also wants to play and can help teach her boundaries, as Molly likes to try to chew on her foster fur sister’s ear at times to get her to play. She will also need a physically fenced in yard to play in as remember she has lots of energy and needs plenty of exercise.
Molly is fully house trained which took quite while to accomplish give her previous owner crated her for long periods of time, she was not given potty training lessons until she came to her us her at NBRAN, as well as, having diabetes Insipidus.

If you think Molly would be a wonderful addition to your family then please consider filling out an adoption application using the link below as Molly is ready to pack up her blanket and toys and start her next chapter!

If you’re interested in submitting an application for Molly/PA, you can do so here:  https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application
Once we receive you application the coordinator in the State where you reside will follow-up with you. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here http://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators. Molly’s adoption fee is 325.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brit like Molly/PA back to good health and readying them for adoption.
Don't live in Southeast PA or close by, No Problem! NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team willing to help bring Molly to her new family, up to 1400 miles, with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Still have questions? Contact Pennsylvania Coordinators Lisa Burly-Blystone at lcnjnburley@gmail.com or Chris Eddinger at ceddinger@verizon.net Thank you.
