Jess was living on the streets of Skid Row and was pregnant with her 3rd litter - the drug addict didn’t want to give her up because they said “I already have buyers for the puppies!” But look at the conditions this dog was living in! She was so sad and defeated.
Thankfully an officer picked her up as a stray and when nobody came to claim her, we got her out of the shelter and directly to our vet to terminate the pregnancy. Once spayed, she was of no value to the abuser.
She is still decompressing and really enjoying life off the streets.
She loves car rides. Gentle with treats.
