Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jax – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love
Jax is a sweet senior pup with a heart full of love and a calm, easygoing personality. At over 11 years old, he’s ready to spend his golden years in a home that appreciates his gentle nature and quiet companionship.
Why You’ll Love Jax
Gentle & Laid Back: Jax is calm and quiet in the home, making him the perfect low-maintenance companion.
Dog-Friendly: He gets along well with other laid-back dogs who respect his space.
Kid-Friendly: Jax is patient and kind with children.
Great Walker: He enjoys leisurely strolls and takes his time exploring.
Special Notes About Jax
Jax is blind and hard of hearing, but don’t let that fool you—he navigates his surroundings well once he’s familiar with them.
Loves slow car rides with the window down—it’s one of his favorite ways to relax!
Enjoys chewing on bones and taking long, cozy naps.
Very quiet indoors—he’s the definition of a peaceful companion.
Jax is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy comfort, companionship, and the simple joys of life. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and want a loyal friend who will melt your heart, Jax is your guy!
We are pleased to announce that Jax’s veterinary coverage is partially by Vintage Fur Senior Dogs Inc! Jax will receive $600 every year in veterinary coverage for the rest of his life. This money may be used to treat conditions and treatments including prescription medication, bloodwork, imaging and more. To learn more about the sponsorship, please contact Guilford County Animal Services or visit https://www.vintagefur.org
As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.
To learn more about Jax or to get in contact with his foster parent, please text our foster coordinator at 336-937-1867!
