Dusty was found as a stray and is 7yrs old this September. She loves one on one attention but can be very timid around others that she is not familiar with. She will hide when strangers are around. She loves to eat snacks so you will likely need to limit those for her. She needs plenty of time to adjust to new surroundings and will hide until she feels safe enough to be around others in the home.

More about this rescue

Purrfect Friends, established in 2005, is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501c3 organization. With over 5,600 cats adopted, we work to combat cat overpopulation and suffering in the Cincinnati area. There is no shortage of cats and kittens in need of homes! Our efforts include rescuing cats in need, assisting with spaying and neutering, providing high quality medical care, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) initiatives. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership.
We Are A No Kill foster-based Rescue
We have no physical location – all of our cats live in our dedicated volunteers’ homes. We are passionate about making the best possible match for adopters and the cats and kittens in our care. Purrfect Friends has a special commitment to mom cats – when we help with kittens, we help the moms too! Members of our “No moms left behind club” are fully vetted and incorporated into our foster program until their loving homes are found.
