Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Grizzly is a beautiful 3.5 year-old German Shepherd mix. While he was very nervous upon coming to the shelter, day by day he is becoming more comfortable and now realizes once the leash is on, he shows no resistance and loves to go for walks. He even sits before being leashed, and even knows `sit` and `paw`. Grizzly is starting to offer soft, sweet eye contact and learning to trust those around him! Grizzly walks well on a leash (though loud sounds still make him quite nervous) and has been friendly toward strangers outside of his kennel. He hasn’t shown interest in playing just yet, likely due to anxiety in the new environment, but he’s shown curiosity about toys. Grizzly would do best in a home with teens,16 and older. This boy will thrive with someone who understands shepherds and is ready to give him the patience and structure he needs to settle in and feel secure.
