Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Aspen: Pet of the Week!
Sweet, well-mannered girl, responds incredibly well to affection and direction.
With some other big dogs arriving at the facility recently, we've noticed Aspen has really started to show a good amount of anxiety over them and the frequent incoming and outgoing of pets. She definitely prefers the exclusive company of fellow adoptable dog Bruno, and they really are the best of friends, but we've noticed that she loses her confidence with the other dogs, causing her to do some self-defense barking. We just want her to feel calm and confident again.
We'd need to do a meet and greet with any dogs/pets in a potential foster or adoptive home. She'd do well as an only dog or likely with smaller dogs, but she isn't sure about the bigger pups we've had in the shelter recently.
Please reach out to us if you'd like to be Aspen's soft place to land. We really want the very best for this amazingly sweet girl!
