My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Peace Academy. This is a program for dogs to learn advanced skills to manage their energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am active boy and would be a great companion for long walks or hikes! - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.
My home needs are: - Many exciting things happen outside that I want to check out, so if you have a fence, it needs to be at least 6 feet tall to keep me safe inside your yard. - I need a home without other dogs - I prefer having your attention all to myself! - Cats are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat free. - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!

Hi there, I’m Oso! I’m a playful, goofy, water-loving dog who likes to have a good time. Everything is a fun game to me. I might also be the smartest dog you’ve ever met. I pick up on things so quickly and I’m a star training student who loves to learn. If you have the energy and patience for a young, active dog in your life, I’d love to be the one! I know I can make you laugh every single day at my silly antics. And I can’t wait to curl up by your side to feel the connection that we’ll have. Please give me a chance! I’m so ready for my new life to begin.
I’m a darling, 1 year old, 61-pound bundle of spunk and fun energy, with the cutest freckled face, soft fur, and a spirited, happy, delightful personality. I was originally transferred to Wayside from a rural shelter in Arkansas that didn’t have space for me. I had never had a home before, and I spent way too much of my puppyhood growing up in homeless shelters. I finally got adopted, but things didn’t work out for me there. My owner let me run loose in the neighborhood, which isn’t good for anyone. So now I’m back at Wayside, searching for a ho
