My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Get curious with Arthur!

A handsome house detective with a heart of gold and a nose for adventure, Arthur is a gentle, inquisitive boy who has come a long way since arriving at EHS. He was found alone after his previous owner had passed away. Initially scared and confused, this sweet boy has adjusted to his new life. He`s grown into a sweet, affectionate cat who loves company and observing the world around him. Now, Arthur is ready to find a new forever home to help him continue his journey of spreading smiles and laughter!

ABOUT ARTHUR
- At shelter
- Arthur is quite the amateur sleuth, and he loves to investigate his environment—just call him Fur-lock Holmes!
- Keen and observant, Arthur sniffs everything, particularly his brush (though he`d rather sniff it than be brushed).
- Adorable and independent, Arthur likes to explore and chill by himself, though he will cozy up next to you for some company.
- He loves attention and will politely reach out when he wants more affection. He has no limits when it comes to getting pets, happily accepting affection as long as he sniffs you first.
- Arthur loves head and back scratches, and will happily trot over from his cat tree when someone he trusts walks in, awaiting his paw-pets and head-butts!
- He`s always looking for company and becomes upset when people leave him alone—a true people-cat!
- This curious detective would peek outside the door whenever his foster parent was leaving. Perhaps he was wondering where the next case was!
- Arthur loves to eat and is always asking for food. He will stare at his empty bowl, pretending he hasn`t been fed, and hoping for more. He will even go as far as tapping people to ask for food, making sure his meals are never forgotten.
- Arthur is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
- Arthur was declawed (front paws only) prior to coming into the care of EHS.

ARTHUR`S IDEAL HOME
- Arthur can become reactive when startled. He would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe.
- This detective prefers to work without a sidekick and is best-suited to a home without young children or any other animals.
- A patient, experienced adopter would be ideal to help Arthur build his confidence and feel safe.
- EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Arthur with successfully transitioning int
