Meet Cherry!
A playful and spirited one-year-old mixed breed currently living in Mauldin, SC, whose boundless energy and affectionate heart make every day an adventure. Wrapped in a soft white coat with the sweetest brown brindle markings on her face, this lively girl is always ready for fun—whether it's chasing after her favorite chew toys or dashing around the yard with a joyful spark in her eyes!
Cherry is the ultimate social butterfly! She absolutely loves meeting new canine friends and has a knack for making playdates extra exciting. If there’s a pup nearby, she’s eager to share a game of zoomies and a few friendly bounces. People? Oh, she adores them too! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big-hearted enthusiasm that’s hard to resist.
With her sharp mind and eagerness to learn, Cherry already knows several commands, including “come,” “sit,” “place,” and “off.” She’s had some obedience training, but with her high energy and playful nature, continued positive reinforcement will help her fine-tune her manners. She’s also a bit of a problem-solver—if she sees a fence between her and a fun adventure, she just might try to find a way over it! Because of this, she’ll thrive in a home with a secure, tall fence and a family ready to keep her engaged with play, training, and lots of love.
When she’s not zooming around, Cherry enjoys quality time with her favorite humans. She’s got a cuddly side and has claimed the coziest chair in the house as her go-to lounging spot. Whether she’s playing or snuggling, her affectionate nature shines through, making her a wonderful companion for someone who loves an active and devoted pup.
Cherry also loves chew toys, and if you leave something within reach, she might decide to test it out herself! Keeping shoes, remotes, and other valuables out of her reach (or offering plenty of chew-approved alternatives) will help set her up for success. With the right toys and guidance, she’ll happily channel her chewing energy in the right direction!
