My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooby was surrendered to us due to landlord issues. He is being vetted today, 06/26/2025, so will be UTD on shots and neutered. He is brand new to us so we are still learning him. So far we can say he is a good boy. Shy with people at first but loves other dogs. He has been around children with no issue and lived with cats previously. He is non reactive to our horses too. He knows how to use a doggy door, is house trained, crate trained, and sleeps all night.

Go meet their pets

We operate from our home so we require an appointment to meet available dogs.

More about this rescue

We specialize in Great Danes and Great Dane mixes. As owners of several Great Danes and a couple of Great Dane/Mastiff mixes we have come to love the gentle giants. Unfortunately the bigger the dog the less likely it is for them to get adopted from overcrowded shelters that euthanize for space without giving them a chance.

We care for every dog that comes through our doors as if they were our own. We don't crate dogs or have kennels. We have dedicated indoor and outdoor areas for decompressing, quarantine and behavioral purposes. We feed, provide veterinary care including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping if needed, and allow them slow, safe opportunities to meet and play with other dogs.
