🎮 Meet Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Ratchet! 🎮
This mischievous trio of tabby-and-white brothers are ready to level up your life! Named after some of the most iconic PlayStation heroes, these boys are currently in a loving foster home, learning the ropes of indoor life, perfecting their snuggles, and honing their kitten chaos skills.

🌀 Crash Bandicoot is the wild child of the group—always on the move, always getting into something, and somehow always adorable doing it.
🔥 Spyro is the shy guy with a gentle soul. He prefers to hang back and quietly observe before joining the fun, but once he trusts you, he melts into a puddle of purrs.
🔧 Ratchet is the clever one, always thinking a few steps ahead—whether it’s planning the perfect pounce or locating the coziest nap spot.

They’ll be ready to find their forever homes in mid-July and would love a home that appreciates a good adventure, a soft blanket, and maybe a laser pointer or two.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees for dogs includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, flea and tick prevention, heart worm prevention, heart worm tested, and microchip registration.

Adult Dogs: $200
Puppies: $225

Cat adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and tick prevention, and microchip registration.

Adult Cats: $75 (or $125 for a pair)
Kittens: $90 (or $150 for a pair)

Since 1979, the Effingham County Humane Society has been committed to serving Effingham County, IL and the surrounding area. We are located in the former Funkhouser School, and our non-profit shelter is sustained by volunteers, fundraising, contributions, and adoption fees.

The goal of the Effingham County Humane Society is to reduce animal suffering in our county through educating and promoting responsible pet ownership, including spaying/neutering pets, appropriate pet identification, proper pet care, and the quality adoption of homeless pets.
