Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heidi is an approximately 3-year-old female Cattle Dog Mix and currently weighs around 30 lbs. Heidi came to the rescue with her 8 puppies, but she is over being a mother and is now living her best life just being a happy dog.
Heidi is very friendly and doesn't know a stranger. She is playful with other dogs in the home. She likes her toys and will entertain herself with them. She also likes her quiet time for naps and will go find some place to nap that she won't be bothered. Heidi has been left in the home to roam with the other dogs without any issues. She also sleeps all night long without any problem.
Heidi is a very smart girl and is learning basic commands. She will need a secure fenced backyard. Heidi is a joy to watch! She was less than an hour from euthanization at a local shelter. She knows she was given a second chance and she is not going to waste it!
Heidi is house broken and currently uses a doggie door at her foster's home. She may require some patience in a home without a doggie door. She walks on a leash but using a harness would be the recommendation.
Heidi is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225.
To adopt Heidi, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

More about this rescue
Forever Yours Dog Rescue was founded on November 8th, 2011, with the mission of helping smaller animal shelters located throughout Oklahoma.
We are an Oklahoma City based all-breed 501(c) dog rescue, caring for the unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs of Oklahoma. We rescue from local shelters and shelters throughout Oklahoma. We do take owner surrender's under certain situations.
We advocate spay/neuter and offer assistance in finding a low-cost option for those that qualify.
We promote adoption as an alternative to buying your pet.
We provide pet ownership education through materials, counceling, and on-site workshops, at no cost to the public, with an emphasis on preventative care.
We are all volunteer based, with no paid employees.
Please support us in our mission to attain a time in Oklahoma when there are homes for all adoptable pets by donating at www.foreveryoursokc.org/donate.
