We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 7/14/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Gracey to our trip for the right home 💕
Meet our sweet Gracey! She turned 1 year of age on 5/18/25. She is naturally a smaller girl weighing in at 9.2 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is a purebred shih tzu. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has been cleared by our vet to find a home all her own ❤️
She is doing great at going outside every 3-4 hours to use the restroom when needed, and is also trained to use puppy pads inbetween if needed to. We are great about taking her outside, but due to her small size we always accompany her so that leaves her dependent on us so having the puppy pads down for her is just in case she needs them, but if you have a good schedule she won't use them as she really loves being able to go oursode!
She is crate trained, and if needed will use one. She currently however sleeps in bed with my daughter which she absolutely loves! If you don't want her in bed with you, then a bed aside yours or the crate will do just fine. She is very easy going and doesn't fuss over anything!
She is working on leash confidence and in time will master all the joy and adventures going on walks brings but until then she will need a patient human leading the way ❤️ She has a very adventurous side to her so I assure you that it won't take long for her confidence to grow 😊
She is AMAZING with all dogs, and cats alike. She is EVERYONE'S friend so if you have another sweet friend in your home her heart will be happy to have a playmate ❤️ She really LOVES playtime, I can't emphasize that enough! She loves toys, and engaging with other animals. She is a total sweetheart, and just full of so much joy and happiness it's bursting at her seams 🥰 She is a complete doll, and just incredibly special in every way!! If you don't have any other animals, and she only has you/your family then I just recommend play dates with friends or family's dogs so she can get her playtime fix in at a moments notice ❤️
She is not a barker at all, and while alert she doesn't really bark when scared or unsure about something. She will just come to find you 😂 She wouldn't even harm a fly so forget a big scary noise! Not happening!
She is very well behaved in the home, and if it's not play time, it's cuddle or nap time and trust me she is great at all the above!! She is the ultimate snuggler, and will make naps a thing in your home if they aren't one now 🙃
She is great on road trips of any length, so whether you are oooking for a buddy to ride around town doing errands, or to take a vacation with she is your girl every time ready to keep you company ❤️
She is amazing at the groomers, and very good on the table. She loves being pampered, brushed, and LOVES her bows 💓 She is a girly girl for sure ☺️
Her prior owner had two senior dogs and sadly they weren't taking on the idea of a young playful pup. They enjoyed the naps she would take with them, but would hide from her when it was playtime which always made her really sad! Her owner didn't have the time to replace what her senior dogs couldn't give to Gracey in friendship as she worked long hours herself. She didn't want her life to be sad nor lonely so she asked us to take her in and find her a great new home that would fill her spirit with happiness ❤️ So here we are 💕

It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, ear cleaning, allergy injection given due to mild allergies she was having, her in heat spay increase due to longer anesthesia time, her antibiotic injection given to aid in the healing of her spay, and her exam with our vet. And as always, her adoption fee goes back into the months of care she has recieved, her grooming costs, and the training we have personally done with her here ❤️
