Nani arrived with her three littermates, shy and unsure of how to be a kitten. At first, she didn’t want to play and would try her best to bolt from cuddles—but what a difference a few weeks have made!
Now, Nani has come out of her shell and blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate kitten. She loves romping around with other cats and kittens, eats like a champ, and has discovered just how great cuddles can be. After a busy morning of play, she’ll find a cozy spot to nap the afternoon away.
Watching Nani grow in confidence has been a joy, and she’s ready to continue that journey in a forever home.

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
