People and other dogs are my favorite—I'm always ready to play, explore, and be part of the fun. I’d be a great fit for an active family who enjoys daily walks, weekend hikes, and spending quality time outdoors.
Since I’m a herding mix, I thrive on structure and would really enjoy attending dog training classes with my new humans. It’s a great way for us to bond and for me to keep learning!
I’m very much a family dog, not a working dog, and I belong in a loving home—not on a farm or ranch. I’ll need a house with a securely fenced yard so I can safely run and play. I can be a bit vocal when I’m excited or alerting my family, so apartment life isn’t for me.
Oh—and about cats? Let’s just say they don’t appreciate my go-go-go energy, so a feline-free home is best.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:
Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax
Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.
These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.
