This bonded brother/sister pair were adopted in Sept. '23 as young kittens but, sadly, due to many personal issues and the adopter's current job status they need to find a new home.
Finn (the boy) is the one with the black nose. He is very sweet but more on the shy side. He loves to chase his plastic springs and fuzzy balls and will greet you in the morning with his sweet chirps. He and his sister do not meow they chirp to each other (their secret language).
Penny is a sweet girl and is very friendly. She likes to sit on her lounge chair in the living room when you watch TV in the evening. Penny and her pink nose and fluffy tail makes her the perfect kitty. She is the first to her food bowl in the morning and a huge fan of her cat dancer.
Both kitties love looking out the windows and watch the birds and squirrels. They love their scratching post and pads. They are great with their litter box and not clawing the furniture. They are seeking a patient adopter who understands the upheaval they've been through and will give them as much time as needed to feel safe and secure again. Meet them in their Alexandria, Va foster home.
Updated 8/13/25
Update from foster mom 9/10/25 -They have a TON of personality once they settle in. Both are extraordinarily affectionate and Finn is the best little weirdo. Neither has much tolerance for long petting sessions, but they definitely enjoy company and follow me around the house most of the time.
They should ideally end up with a family that will let them in the bedroom. Penny is addicted to playtime on the bed and will race to the bedroom if she sees me heading there. Finn loves curling up with me in the mornings in bed and is most affectionate then. It’s clear both of them associate the bed with cuddles, play, and love.
