Pinto is the spirited boy. He is very playful and a bit mischievous at times but not in a bad way. He wants to crawl up into your lap. He will literally drop himself on your lap and will gentle paw your face to make sure you love on him. Once he is comfortable he will lay is head on your heart and fall asleep!

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
