Basil is a loving female dog who is in need of a nurturing home. This affectionate and funny dog is known for being gentle and smart, but independent. She is loyal to her loved ones and very friendly around strangers, but she is also protective and playful. Basil is an incredibly curious dog who enjoys napping on the couch. She loves to cuddle up with her humans and protect them from any potential danger. While Basil's breed is unknown to us, we believe her to be a mix of Plott Hound and Pitbull Terrier and or some labrador retriever. Basil is 3 Years old. She has had a rough life, and she deserves a bright future. Basil is good with dogs with a slow introduction, older cats and kids. Potential adopters need to submit an application first.

Interview

The phone interview is to get to know the potential adopters and see if the pet they chose is right for them.

3.
Approve Application

After the phone interview, we decide at that time if applicant is approved and then we move onto the next step in the adoption process.

4.
Meet the Pet

Steps 4 and 5 kind of go together. The potential adopters can meet the pet at the same time of us doing a home check.

Home Check

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Steps 6,7,8 - can all happen on the same day if everything goes well.
