Meet Estrella — Our Shining Star Looking for a Foster or Adopter!
Estrella (Spanish for star) is a sweet, gentle 2-year-old girl in Virginia Beach who’s ready to leave her board-and-train program and finally settle into a loving home.
✨ About Estrella:
• 45 lbs, spayed, 4DX negative and on prevention
• Great with dogs and cats
• Shy at first and a bit fearful of men, but warms up beautifully with patience
• Spent the last 2 months building confidence and social skills in a board and train program, her foster/adopter can get all the insights into her training and hopefully help her continue moving forward.
Left tied to a rescue gate as a puppy, Estrella has come such a long way and deserves a place to feel safe and loved. She’s not a “just anyone” dog — she needs someone kind and patient — but she will reward you with lifelong loyalty and affection.
We are urgently seeking a foster home in Virginia Beach help this girl acclimate back into a home.

Interview
One of our adoption coordinators will reach out to you to discuss what type of dog would best fit your needs and family.
Meet the Pet
Once approved, you will be connected with the animals foster to schedule an in-person meet and greet.
Take the Pet Home
After the meet and greet, if the animal is a good fit, a trial adoption will be scheduled where you bring the animal home for a trial period
Sign Adoption Contract
if after the trial period you wish to adopt the animal, you will complete our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
Pay Fee
Most adoption fees are $395 for dogs.
