My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a Wonderful dog available for adoption! Sweet APOLLO is a beautiful lab mix, just about 2 1/2 years old and about 45 pounds. Unfortunately, his current owner recently lost her job and has to move and cannot take Apollo with her.  Apollo is housetrained and loves people.  He is good with cats and other dogs. If you know anyone looking for a really friendly and awesome dog  please keep Amazing Apollo in mind!

Most Saturdays, we have an adoption fair at PetSmart, 2641 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro NC. We are usually there from about 11:30 to 1:30 PM.

More about this rescue

Jan's Animal Rescue was founded by Jan Grafton to help dogs go from life-threatening situations to loving homes.

Jan volunteered at the local animal shelter for 12 years. Then in 2012 she started a foster-based animal rescue.

In 2018 she started Jan’s Animal Rescue to help dogs. She has rescued and found homes for those that have been sick, injured, abused and homeless, including animals that were scheduled to be euthanized.

Jan works with local veterinarians to assure that the dogs get the medical attention they need.

She has a network of volunteers who work tirelessly to foster and care for the pets until a home can be found.
