My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar really is amazing! He came to us as a terrified kitten and has blossomed into a real love bug. He will run up to you, crying and purring, when he sees you and let you cradle him like a baby.. Then he'll cuddle with you when it's time for a nap.

He is as sweet as he is handsome. He never uses his claws (or teeth) when playing and is very gentle.

He is an inquisitive little boy who loves to explore. He plays with all of his toys, but his favorite is the one that looks like a little spring. He will pick it up in his mouth and carry it around in his mouth.. He also loves playing with his sister Emmy, who is looking for her forever home as well..

Oscar will be shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he'll be your friend for life. He is bonded with his sister Emmy and must be adopted as a pair.

All of our cats are in foster homes. You can meet a cat that you are interested in at our adoption center with an appointment.

Sign Adoption Contract

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.
