If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Skippy is super-sweet, kind, and loving. He is a beautiful, neutered orange tabby kitten with white toes, white bib, and white markings on his tummy. He was born in late March 2025 to a cat we re-homed and did not know she was pregnant at the time. Skippy has such a wonderful personality. He loves to play with his brother Jamie, likes fleece wands, rattle balls, and catnip toys. He often sits on my lap, settles down and hearing his strong purr is so comforting. He enjoys human interaction and getting gentle pets. Skippy is very intuitive, has good manners, and a very sweet voice. The benefit of adopting an older kitten is that he has been well socialized, knows which behaviors are inappropriate, and offers a rewarding experience that’s much less challenging than raising a very young kitten. Skippy would be okay in a home with older children and gentle handling, but not real young children. Skippy would like to be adopted together with his brother Jamie.
