Good With Kids: Hasn’t met young kids yet.
Good With Other Dogs: Yes
Good With Cats: Unknown
Housetrained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes*
Walks Nicely On A Leash: Workin’ on it
Knows Basic Commands: Yes
Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Moderate
Special Needs: N/A
Physical Fence: Depends on Adopter
Favorite Toy / Activity: Loves his stuffies! And, Nylabones.
Arrival story: Was relinquished by owner through no fault of his own.
Approximate age / Weight: About 2 yrs old / 50 lbs.
Personality: Chase is a charmer! While he enjoys a good romp, especially with a furry friend, he's also content to snuggle up for naps and cuddle time. He's a true people-pleaser and quick learner. When asked to “shake paw” he’ll switch paws when asked.
Chase is a house-trained gentleman. While he's not a fan of crates and can get a bit vocal, he's well-behaved when left in a designated area of the house and doesn't get into mischief. He's currently working on perfecting his leash manners, as he can get a little enthusiastic and pull at first. With his eagerness to please, he's sure to improve quickly with consistent training.
Not yet introduced to any young children, he currently lives with a 16 year old and does well. Chase also gets along with other dogs, being pals with resident 6 month old canine and respectful of senior dog in foster home, who isn’t much into playing.
Chase would enjoy having a safe, fenced yard to run around in freely, but it's not a strict requirement. His absolute favorite things in the world are his stuffed toys - so much so that he'll even take them outside on potty breaks! While they may not last long, they bring him immense joy. He also enjoys nylabones, but stuffies are his true love
New Home: Chase could fit into many different home environments. He really just wants to be someone’s best boy.
