Meet Willow (Melrose in the MAS Database)
Willow is a sweet and curious kitten who’s been thriving in her foster home! Officially listed as Melrose, this little lady goes by Willow and is a charming mix of independent explorer and cuddly companion.
She’s been exposed to dogs, cats, men, women, and children, and has done well with everyone! She’s especially curious about dogs—while she hasn’t had full free-roam interactions with them yet, she’s shown interest and confidence. She gets along well with other cats, and is comfortable around people of all ages and genders.
Willow is litterbox trained and has a medium energy level, meaning she enjoys playtime just as much as a cozy nap. She loves sitting in windowsills, batting around toys with bells, and has the cutest trick—if you make a kiss noise, she’ll gently touch her nose to your face!
She knows her name and is currently learning the command “paw.” Willow would do best in a home that appreciates her mix of independence and affection, and one where she’ll have plenty of play and cuddle opportunities.

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.
All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
