My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anna is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat with a shy but incredibly sweet nature. She's still learning to trust people, but with a little patience and love, she's sure to blossom in the right home. While she may be reserved at first, she allows gentle pets and enjoys quiet companionship.

She loves anything crinkly and can entertain herself for hours with toy balls. Seeing her playful side emerge is a joy and a sign of her growing confidence.

Anna finds comfort in the presence of other animals and would do best in a home with a friendly cat or a calm, cat-savvy dog. She loves to observe and be near her furry friends, which helps her feel safe and confident. A peaceful environment with a patient adopter who understands that love and trust take time would be ideal for her.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
