Beaver is an inquisitive, playful little lady that would do well solo if you’re able to play with her consistently throughout the day, or with other pets. Every morning she lives with me, I’m greeted by her high-pitched, chirpy meow in a sing song tone and she enjoys having a conversation with me. Enthusiastically responding with more chirps when I ask her questions and prepare her food. She currently lives with two other cats while at her foster home and enjoys playing with and chasing both of her foster siblings throughout the day. With a proper introduction, I think Beaver would do well with most dogs as well, even higher energy dogs. While she’s still a little shy, Beaver loves to play with toys. She specifically likes wand toys with feathers or small balls with a bell or noise box inside. Like a true huntress, she watches her toys patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike rather than chasing after the toy nonstop. Beaver is a very healthy eater, preferring to eat her meals all at once and chicken seems to be a direct line to her heart, but wont say no to some tuna and salmon. She enjoys bird and people watching through the window and can occasionally be a mischievous kitten, but that’s the joy of watching her silly and easily distracted personality grow.

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
