Kallee came into her foster home fearful and unsure of humans. With time and patience she has come out of her shell and transformed into a sweet purring machine who loves head scratches and having her fur brushed! She has a favorite chair from which she likes to observe everything through the window. She spends much of the day curled up with a fuzzy blanket on that chair, often snuggled up with her foster brother! Kallee loves to play with feather toys, anything with a bell on it, and even a discarded scrunchie or elastic. Watching her go from fearful to playful has been magical!
She can still be timid with sudden movements and noises, but given her excellent progress, her foster mom is confident that she will continue to get more comfortable and trusting with time.
Kallee would do best in a home as a solo cat or with with a friendly cat. Households with older children who respect her space would be appropriate.

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
