Puddles is a friendly, goofy, and incredibly sweet 3 year-old German Shepherd mix girl with a lot of love to give. She’s currently being fostered in an apartment with a cat and is doing great. She’s dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and good with kids. She’s selectively vocal but generally quiet throughout the day, even while her foster works from home.
Puddles has a hip and leg injury that left one leg paralyzed. She receives daily medication for this and may need some additional support as she ages, but otherwise gets around well and keeps up with normal daily life. It doesn’t slow her down from playing or enjoying herself.
She loves chews, squeaky toys, ropes, and balls. She knows the command “sit” (sometimes with a little playful back-talk first) and is continuing to improve her leash manners. She is also crate trained.
Puddles is affectionate, playful, and resilient. She has been spayed and is up to date with her vaccines. She will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to welcome a sweet, well mannered dog into their home.
