My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sedona!

Are you a quirky person looking for your quirky cat soul mate?  Sedona might fit that bill!  Sedona is deaf, and can't hear, but that doesn't slow her down a bit!  She can be very vocal and lets you know when she is on the prowl and ready to play!  She shows off her playful side and races around with bursts of energy to catch her favorite toy - her feather wand.

Sedona has a beautiful coat of red, orange, beige and white with black stripes and swirls that give her that exotic cat look.  She has the cutest little beige and white feet to give that touch of calico.

Sedona is a petite, 8 year old cat with a sweet disposition.  She loves to rub her head aganst your hand as you pet her. She adores company and will follow you from room to room.  She loves sleeping on your lap and getting her head scratched.  She will often sleep next to you at night and likes to keep you company all day!

Sedona would love to have a home with you where she can sit and look out the window, watching the wildlife!  After she has surveyed her kingdom (being a calico queen), she enjoys taking long naps on her window perch. She is an outgoing cat and is not shy and would do well as an only cat or with another friendly cat or dog. She probably will not be good with children as she only likes to be petted on her head. Sedona has recently been diagnosed with asthma and takes her inhaler easily as she knows she's getting a treat right after! Adopter should be willing to give her meds with her inhaler daily.

Sedona is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped.

If interested in learning more about Sedona or to adopt her, please submit an online application and an adoption coordinator will contact you.

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.
