I got him when he was 9 weeks old he is very well trained it's just that I am 67 he made me fall after I picked him up from boarding( I had just gotten back from Jamaica) injured my knee,just the other day I had him outside on the his lead he saw a rabbit bolted and almost made me fall again I just can't have another injury he is an excellent watch dog when I board him they have no problem they say he is a gentleman, he gets along with my nephew Frenchie but they grew up together he is only protective around me, he will be 3 in August, i think he would be good with a family and older kids (he thinks my 3 yo niece is a toy) I would say probably 8 and up because they would be able to handle his rough playing and can command him to stop which he will because he is well trained!
