My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annabelle is a senior tuxedo beauty with an oversized presence and an equally oversized heart. She came to us after her beloved owner moved into assisted living, and now shes looking for her next chapter in a loving home.

Annabelle is what we like to call supersized: a big, beautiful girl whos currently working on trimming down with the help of a special diet. Shes making great progress and would thrive in a home that can keep supporting her journey toward a healthier weight.

Annabelle is a little less social than her sister, Savannah. While she tolerates other cats, she's not that interested in socializing with them. She's not big on being held but will very likely steal your favorite chair.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
