My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gruyere isn’t just a kitten — he’s a whole cheese board of energy, affection, and snack-based ambition. At four months old, this brown tabby boy has places to be (your lap), things to do (investigate everything), and goals to achieve (eat all the food).

He is, without a doubt, the most socially bold of his siblings. No lurking in the shadows for this guy — he’s the one trotting straight up to new people like, “Hello, yes, would you like to become best friends immediately?” He needs to be in your business — whether that’s sitting in the middle of whatever you’re doing or supervising your snack prep with laser focus. (Don’t drop anything. He’s watching.)

Gruyere plays like a gentleman. He’s a world-class wrestler with his siblings, but always keeps it polite — all soft paws and wiggly tackles, no drama. He’s obsessed with toys, particularly anything that crinkles, wiggles, or can be dramatically pounced on. When playtime’s over? He’s usually off to the food bowl or flopping next to you with a happy sigh.

Let’s talk food. Because Gruyere thinks about it constantly. Wet food, dry food, treats, your lunch, the concept of lunch — it’s all worthy of investigation. He eats with the passion of a kitten who knows where joy lives (in the kitchen).

Despite all his confidence and chaos, Gruyere is sweet to the core. He loves affection, leans into head scritches, and purrs like a kitten powered by rotini and dreams. He’s the perfect combo of playful and loving, silly and snuggly, and honestly just the kind of kitten who makes you wonder how you ever lived without him.

Ideal home:
Gruyere would thrive just about anywhere — solo, with other cats, in a home that matches his goofy energy and snacky lifestyle. He’d love a feline friend who plays gently like he does, but he’d also do great as your one and only if you’re ready to give him all the attention (and food… don’t forget the food).

If you want a kitten who greets you like a celebrity, plays like a pro, and believes every day should end in treats, Gruyere is ready to move in.

This boy is un-brie-lievably charming — and you’d better act fast before someone else takes a bite out of this perfect little wheel of fun. 🧀🐾
