Oliver is a 7.5-year-old Shih Tzu who has been part of my life and heart since 2017. He originally belonged to my grandparents, but when they passed away, they entrusted him to meand I’ve cared for him ever since. He’s been by my side through some of the most meaningful years of my life, including my marriage and the birth of my twins. Rehoming him is not a decision I take lightly.
Oliver is a sweet, independent little guy who enjoys calm environments and a steady routine. He tolerates children but definitely prefers space and quiethe’ll often remove himself to a cozy corner if things get too chaotic. He’s not a lap dog, but he loves to be near his person, especially when the house is peaceful. He barks when he hears noise or gets excited, but he settles quickly.
He takes two walks a day (though he prefers a slower pace) and sometimes tags along on trips to the dog park, though he’s not one to engage in rough play. He does best with other low-energy dogs and is not good with cats.
