Hi, I'm Maple! I'm a 3 yr old foxhound mix looking for a new home. I am super affectionate & loving, so much so that I will squeal with excitement when I see you even if you've only been away for a short time... I just love people so much! I enjoy cuddling with my favorite people, running circles in the yard, & eating treats or chewing bones.
I am looking to live in a house where I am the only dog so I don't stress about guarding resources. I get along perfectly with other dogs in public settings, at the dog park, & when boarded or staying with other dogs. But, specifically, when sharing a home with another dog long term, I can exhibit resource-guarding behaviors. This has never been an issue with people, though. I get along great with kids and babies.
I am house trained, walk very well on a leash, travel well, & am spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. I would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to add a loyal, loving dog to their family. I can’t wait to meet you!
