My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ramen Noodle Boy! The happy go lucky cutie with a curly tail who is ready for his forever family! His personality is nothing short of fun and joyful and he would be great for someone seeking a daily dose of dopamine from their furry friend!

Ramen is currently being fostered in a family home! Which is amazing because that means less adjustment time to a house-like setting when he gets adopted into his new place! He resides with children and loves to run and play in the backyard! He’s already getting prepared for his best life as a family man.

We believe Ramen is a shepherd mix who is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. He is not too big and not too small. He is just right! Due to Ramen being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But that’s what makes rescue exciting, you get to have your very own unique mix of a dog!

Ramen currently lives with a 7 month old and 2 other dogs in his foster home! His foster raves about how gentle he is with the baby. With his favorite thing being to lick the little’s toes when he is in his highchair, LOL. Ramen truly loves kids because when we introduced him to some of the staff’s children (4 and 11) he was so excited to meet them and play with them! We consider Ramen to be kid friendly and would thrive in a home with children who are dog savvy and understood how to properly enrich their canine companion!

Ramen’s foster siblings include a tiny pomeranian, and a high energy heeler! His foster said that he loves playing with the heeler and respects the pomeranians' need for space. When he met the dogs on property, he played well with all of them! He just tagged along in their trollups around the yard and seemed happy to be a part of the pack! We consider Ramen to be dog friendly and would do great in a home with a medium energy pup who likes to play but also likes to just hang out. Ramen also lives with 2 cats in his foster home and respects their space! We consider him to be cat tolerant and would do well in a home with dog savvy cats who don’t mind occasional canine inspections.

As far as ideal living conditions for Ramen, we could see him thrive in a house or an apartment with an owner who can be devoted to walking him daily to provide the exercise that he needs. His foster says he stays in his crate well and is not much of a barker which is a huge bonus.

Ramen is such a great boy and I can see him thriving as your new family pet! He has so much love to give and will be such a solid friend to spend time with!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
