Meet Swirls!

Swirls is a darling Abyssinian sow that came to us a little over a week ago. Swirls was a pet store piggy and had an abscess on her neck. She was taken to a local veterinary clinic for treatment where she underwent surgery to remove the capsule of the abscess. Unfortunately the surgical site dehisced and a mass formed caudal to the site. The pet store elected for euthanasia due to an inability to seek further treatment. The veterinarian who treated Swirls reached out to us and we agreed to take her in. The mass located caudal to the surgical site rapidly decreased in size and the surgical site has healed very well. Swirls just needed more recovery time!

Swirls is spayed, microchipped and dewormed.
