My name is Hayes!

Hi my name is Hayes. I am a whole lot of love in a little package and I have so much love to give! I am a 3+ year old chihuahua mix. Mixed with what……well who knows?! If you need me, you’ll probably find me perched on the back of a sofa monitoring the world. I like to keep tabs on what is going on outside. If some human or dog friends come on by, I’ll be sure to let you know. I also enjoy being out in the yard and going on walks. If I walk by a human or other animal hang on tight! Sometimes I am a bit reactive. I live with other furry friends (a dog and two cats) and get along with the dog, it did take some time for her to trust me but we're good now. Cats not so much they make weird noises and I really don't want much to do with them.  I love to snuggle in bed at night and will be right at your side on the couch as well. I’m potty trained, I whine when I need to go outside. I enjoy car rides. I would probably do best with older kids just because I can be nervous when people come around. The quickness of young tikes might be a bit much for me. Every now and then I can get a bit grumpy if someone tries to snatch my treats but, honestly, wouldn’t you be the same if someone tried to steal your cookie?! I'd really do best in an only dog home.
